My aspirations to do a Google Doodle go way back to my time in Miami beginning my journey as an independent artist appreciating the stories and information they shared on the large platform sometimes highlighting lesser-known figures from our history.

It was a big deal to have Toni Stone as the subject of the commission. She was the first black woman to play in the Negro Leagues, her story is an interesting and motivational one of a woman who did what she wanted in the face of adversity.
